Kianco Staple Micro Fiber:
According to ISO
standards fibers having a thickness of less than 1 dtex are defined
as micro fibers.
Kianco Fibers is currently producing 0.9 dtex fiber under the name
of micro fiber. Our micro fiber can be used as 100% PAC or mixed
with cotton in the production of Chenille yarns or in worsted and OE
systems and wool products.
According to the end use different finishes (sizing) are applied.
Micro fibers are available in ecru or dyed tow, tops and staple
form.
Chenille yarns obtained from Kianco micro fiber present a bright
appearance and soft touch in knitted and upholstery products.
Staple Micro Fiber
Staple fiber is the
fiber obtained by cutting the tow to a length of between 22-150
mm according to customer request. The end use area of staple
fiber according to their length are listed below:
